Yes it's true! There is breaking news for RS/6000 Lags. It's been some time since our last Final (final) gathering, but you may have seen this on the news today....
After much anticipation and enthusiastic demand, we're thrilled to announce the Final (Final) RS/6000 Lags Reunion - The Sequel!
Our previous reunions have been filled with laughter, nostalgia and wonderful memories of our time working with the iconic RS/6000. Now, it's time to create even more unforgettable moments as we come together once again.
Here are the key details for the sequel event:
• Date: 21st November 2024
• Time: Noon onwards
• Location: Basingstoke - venue TBC but likely The Queens Arms, as per Feb 2020!
• Agenda: Buffet, drinks and great conversation!
This sequel promises to be an incredible opportunity to reconnect with former teammates and friends, relive the camaraderie we shared, and celebrate the legacy of the RS/6000 business that we were all a part of. The format is the same as previous years, you donate to a kitty on the day and I'll arrange for a buffet/snacks. The kitty donation should cover drinks and buffet.
Please mark your calendars and reply to the email from Sue of your intention to attend (or not) this highly anticipated event! Additionally, feel free to spread the word to any other colleagues who may be interested in joining us for this memorable occasion.
